Michael J. Brown is Associate Director of Philanthropic Service for Institutions (PSI), where he serves the training, consulting, and education needs of  the North American Division of Seventh-day Adventist churches, academies, and other SDA affiliated charities.  Prior to joining the North American Division, Michael was president of Targeted Insights, LLC.—a marketing consultancy he founded to serve the donor communications, research, and fundraising consultation needs of nonprofit clients.

Before launching Targeted Insights, Michael was Senior Vice President for one of the largest faith-based advertising agencies in the country. He has served an array of nonprofit organizations including Wycliffe Bible Translators, Moody Bible Institute, Northwestern University Radio Network, Mercy Ships, Alliance Defense Fund, Feeding America, and many others.

Michael earned a B.A. in Mathematics & Computer Science from Oakwood College and an MBA in Marketing & Finance from Tulane University.  He spearheaded marketing management and business research for Fortune 500 and Global organizations like Hallmark Cards, Verizon, and The Dallas Morning News.
