The Missing, the Marginalized, and our Baptism by the Holy Spirit
We obediently tithe the 10% of our increase, but there is another number we are collectively asked to return to the Lord – the 15% of our neighbors who live with a disability. Ministry to persons with disabilities is an imperative. The message of John 9:1-38 speaks volumes. It is a message of taking the gospel beyond the pews, and reclaiming the purpose of the Sabbath. A message of clay, water and redemption; the creator and re-creator, the Holy Spirit, and a witness to all the world. Ministry highlights, and practical applications of partnering with your community in reclaiming the missing and the marginalized who are our neighbors.
